Christmas Eve with the Morgans

Well, I can't believe that it's this time of year already! Since Ryan & I have been dating our tradition is to spend Christmas Eve with his family and Christmas day with mine. This Christmas Eve was especially fun because both Ryan's sister and brother brought their significant other and also because Liam had fun with the wrapping paper! We got to Ryan's grandparents house a little after 6pm and had dinner right away. Liam had already eaten but he sat at the table with us and tore the table cloth apart (it was paper). He was practicing for present time! After dinner, we got down to business, passing out all the presents and opening them! Liam didn't quite get the concept of opening presents but he had fun tearing the paper and playing with it! Liam's favorite part of the night? Playing in the box with all the trash! After the present opening we just sat and talked and watched Liam walk throughout the whole house! He was so happy and once he got that taste of freedom, he wanted to do nothing else! Needless to say he was very upset when we picked him up and it was time to go home! Here are some pictures from the night.

4 days till Christmas!

With only 4 days until Christmas I just couldn't help myself, I had to give Liam one of his presents! Ryan & I decided to get him a Lightening McQueen (from the movie Cars) chair! It proved to be a good present because as you can see, he LOVED iT!

He sits himself in his chair and watches his cartoons.

Liam is still working on tooth #4 and it's on the verge of coming out so he has been a little cranky the last couple days. I will definitely have more to right after Christmas so until then, here are a couple pictures of Liam from this past week.

My First Blog

Well I have decided that since I'm a stay at home mom, I have time for this! :) It has been such an amazing year and that's largely in part to our little Liam. He has made life so joyful!! Watching him grow has been so incredible, from lifting his head up, to rolling, to crawling, and now to walking. I can not wait to see what this coming year will bring.
